Why do I even bother

Truthout, Xerox of the Web, brings a marvellous portrait of the House Speaker and a story of shock that she's such a tool.  Shrug.

She's Speaker of the House, from the left wing of the Money Party -- what do y'all expect from her?  Seriously.  Turn your TeeVee off and pay attention to the real world from time to time, and these shenanigans will no longer be a surprise.  Outrageous, sure, but all too predictable. 

Where's my Jet Pack?  I was assured that by now we'd all have a Jet Pack.  And where's that impeachment?  In '06 impeachment was just around the corner, no?  Remember the 109th Congress and H. Res 635?  The one from some guy named Conyers grumbling about 'retaliating against critics, countenancing torture,' &c.  Oh yeah, sorry, my bad: I remember now; he's from the Northern wing of the President's Money party so that was clearly just a bunch of hot House gas from Michigan.  Or does he represent Dubai?  I always forget which it is  Guess it really doesn't much matter as the result is the same.
