Psst, can I borrow your Model Locator pattern?

As I explore the Model Locator design pattern, I quite naturally assume that I'll be rolling my own.  But why? How about using Cairngorm's Model Locator from now, so that I'll know at least one part of the mountain when I next re-visit Cairngorm for real.
